How many times has a political campaign texted or called you asking you to volunteer?

At least 10 times every presidential cycle?

…And 3 times so far this year?

And how many times have you signed up for that phonebank or canvass?

Once? Maybe, Twice?

Did you actually show up?

No Judgment Here.

We don’t make it easy for you!

Like I said – we don't make it easy.

First, we ask you to drive to our office on the other side of town.

Then, we ask you to learn some new technology. And before we send you on your way to talk to strangers, we remind you that you should ABSOLUTELY knock on doors belonging to voters with No Solicitation signs posted…and just explain to them some legal minutia about how political volunteers are an exception to the law 🙂

Okay. We are exaggerating  (a bit).

Yep. We have virtual phonebanks (sign up here) and text banks (sign up here)… but doesn’t this story kinda ring true?

Volunteering is a hassle. And after decades of campaigning this way,
you’d think we would have come up with a better system.

Oh. Wait. WE DID!

Please allow us to introduce you to the Slacktivist Guide to Winning Elections.

Did You Know:

that there IS some Rhyme, Rhythm, and Math to political volunteering?!

  • Canvassing is king. A quality conversation at the door increases the likelihood a voter will show up on election day up to 15 fold!
  •
  • Phonebanking – less so. But it still works (increasing participation up to 5 fold)!

  • Text banking is more of a numbers game – More contacts but less persuasion 🙁

  • Don’t forget postcards…but who has stamps anymore?!
If you ask a politico how many times a campaign must contact a voter (at the door or on the phone) to get them out to vote…the hacks amongst will probably tell you 7 – 11 times.
Interesting, right?

Okay... Now forget
everything we just
told you!

Because our system works better; takes less time, and doesn’t require you to spend $4.50/gallon of gas
(unless you want to).

This is all you need to do

to help us elect Junaid in June:

  1. Click here and download our app
  2.
  3. Check out who in your contact list is on our targeted voter list
  4.
  5. Text and call your friends and family members on our list (we’ve already written the messages for you) – and ask them to support Junaid a couple of times

We’ve learned that when a volunteer reaches out to people they already know (instead of strangers), they are much more successful in convincing that voter to support a campaign! And it doesn’t take 7 to 11 phone calls to get the job done!

Novel, Right?

Really, how did it take us this long to figure this out?

Okay. In fairness to all of us professional politicos, new technology is really the game-changer 🙂

And that technology allows us to do one other cool thing that’s proven to turn out voters: Boost social media posts (on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram). Given how much time we’re spending online – anytime a supporter shares campaign content, we increase the likelihood that a voter will see our content.

How it works (in 2 simple steps):

  1. Download our app here (unless you already have)
  2. Share the posts you like (we’ll send you a message whenever there is new content)
