Since his election to office in 2016, Raja has taken money from the darkest corners of our democracy.
Rather than fight for lower drug and and gas prices, Raja has taken millions of dollars from big Pharma[1], the oil lobby[2] and corporate PACs.
He has also accepted donations from the Military Industrial Complex’s top-brass in companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman, calling into question Raja’s commitment to peace.[3][4]
But he’s raised more money than every other member of Congress (including Republicans… even more money than Speaker Pelosi).[1]
Shockingly enough, Raja and conservative Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh were law partners at Kirkland and Ellis in the early 2000’s.[1][2][3] When you think about it, suddenly Raja’s ineffectiveness in office makes sense.
He comes from the same political machine that supports corporate political figures like Kavanaugh. These people consistently sacrifice the needs of the people for secure support from corporate donors.[4]
